I've written and illustrated a children's book Lulu Moo in partnership with fellow artist Charlotte Giblin. It's a humorous story about a cow that gets fatter and fatter and fatter, and a young boy trying various means to help it to lose weight. I came up with the story idea and sketched visuals many years ago when I lived on the farm, and now with Charlotte's illustrative talents, the book has been knocked into shape for publishing. I've used fluid acrylics and collage materials for pattern and texture inside and around Charlotte's outlines. Our publisher has green-lit a series of three Lulu Moo books. The first in the series will be available to purchase later this year.
