Pursuing Pastel Workshop
The pure luscious pigments that comprise pastel make this a vibrant, versatile and spontaneous medium. Fast-growing in popularity, pastels are fun to use and the results are always surprising. This is a beginner/intermediate class to gain an insight into the different types of pastels available and the various papers and surfaces suitable for pastel techniques. We will work from a still-life to learn the hands-on technique of layering pastel and achieving detail with colourful pastel.
