If you can cut, you can collage. This workshop explores the use and implementation of design principles using paint and paper. Explore abstraction and realism through a variety of collage techniques. Some of the activities you will be trying are:
- Making your own collage paper
- Ripping, gluing and paint splashing.
- Use of geli prints, stamps, stencils, cardboard, photographs and gels ... everything except the kitchen sink gets a going over in this fun and educational workshop.

All art materials supplied including canvas, GOLDEN paints and creative new mixed media products. Have fun experimenting with a wide range of techniques and mediums.
About Wendy Walls
Wendy is a mixed media artist residing in Whitianga. She paints both abstract and realistic subjects in vibrant colour and rich texture. In her mixed media paintings, Wendy combines a wide range of art materials including gels, pastes, fluid acrylics, inks, skins, collage, and heavy body paints.
As well as maintaining her art practice, Wendy runs mixed media art workshops in her Whitianga studio, and tutors art clubs in other locations by arrangement. She is a Golden Certified Instructor for Golden Artist Colors of New York.
