Art on the Road
It was five years ago that I had my 'Big Idea' to take my art classes on the road, to reach more people in more places and ignite their creativity. I designed a purpose-built art trailer fitted with art class equipment and supplies and took to the road. Five years on, I've covered miles of scenic New Zealand countryside and rolled out my art trolleys in many interesting locations; big cities, small gold mining towns, seaside villages, historic community halls, farm barns and river boat sheds. And more places to come ...

Introducing Lulu Moo
I've written and illustrated a children's book Lulu Moo in partnership with fellow artist Charlotte Giblin. It's a humorous story about a cow that gets fatter and fatter and fatter, and a young boy trying various means to help it to lose weight. I came up with the story idea and sketched visuals many years ago when I lived on the farm, and now with Charlotte's illustrative talents, the book has been knocked into shape for publishing.

Hummingbirds and Peonies
Wendy's artwork provided the inspiration for Sable & Minx's Spring and Summer 2014 fashion collections. New Zealand fashion house Maudella created original fabric prints based on Wendy's paintings of hummingbirds, peonies and marble pattern.
